Xupes opens at De Bijenkorf with vintage watches pop-up
Xupes, one of the UK's leading luxury vintage retailers specializing in watches, handbags and art, has opened a pop-up store at De Bijenkorf. Vintage timepieces by Rolex, Omega, IWC, Cartier and Patek Philippe, and second-hand bags such as Hermes' Birkins and Chanel's 2.55 will be sold through Xupes' shop-in-shop in Amsterdam's most luxurious department store.
The luxury market for vintage and second-hand products is growing tremendously. In Amsterdam we have long been familiar with vintage watch stores such as Amsterdam Watch Company and Amsterdam Vintage Watches, among others, and vintage bag seller l'Etoile de Saint Honoré. With Xupes, our city has added a fine address with a great selection of luxury brands.
"We are excited to launch our global expansion into the retail market in Amsterdam, an extremely exciting new market close to our hearts," Xupes' founder Joseph McKenzie told Fashion United.
The vintage and pre-owned watches and handbags are checked by Xupes for authenticity and quality and are refurbished by the company's watchmakers when necessary. Thus, Xupes ensures that the products always meet a "high standard" and come with a warranty.
"We have a genuine love for the products we sell and understand the important role they can play in people's lives, whether they mark a career milestone, whether it's a gift for a loved one or it's an heirloom for a new generation."
In addition to well-known watch brands such as Hublot, Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet, Tag Heuer and Jaeger-LeCoultre, you will find the largest collection of pre-owned and vintage Rolex Daytonas at De Bijenkorf.
